The Straus Institute is delighted to invite you to attend an inspiring discussion and awards presentation honoring Judge Daniel Weinstein, one of the preeminent mediators of complex civil disputes in the United States, an internationally-renowned expert in resolving high-stakes commercial and political disputes, and founder of the Weinstein International Foundation.
Our Institute will bestow upon Judge Weinstein its highest honor, the Peacemaker Award, for his significant contributions to the field of dispute resolution, his global leadership and philanthropy efforts, as well as the lasting impact he has made in the pursuit of peace. The last recipient of this award was Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Judge Weinstein is a co-founder of JAMS, the world’s largest private mediation provider, and is an active philanthropist through the Weinstein International Foundation, Weinstein JAMS International Fellowship Program in partnership with the JAMS Foundation, and with other charitable organizations.
He will dialogue with Straus professors and students on stage, and their conversation will center upon the Judge’s illustrious career and celebrate his unyielding dedication to resolving conflicts around the globe.
